ASSISTANT TRAINER/REHABILITATION COORDINATOR

Full Name: Christopher T. (Chris) Correnti
Title: Assistant Trainer/Rehabilitation Coordinator

Bio:
Chris is the assistant trainer/rehabilitation coordinator for the Red Sox for the third season. He will oversee the entire Red Sox organization's year-round rehabilitation program from Boston during the major league season and from the club's spring training facility in Ft. Myers, FL during the off-season. In 1994 Chris served as athletic trainer with the Lynchburg Red Sox (A) and the Arizona Fall League. He then was athletic trainer with the Trenton Thunder (AA) and Instructional League in 1995. He was also the minor league rehabilitation coordinator/athletic trainer in Ft. Myers from 1996-00 and oversaw the off-season strength/ conditioning program in Ft. Myers. Following his graduation from Illinois State Univ. in 1990, Correnti began his athletic training career with the Houston Astros organization working in the Florida State and Midwest Leagues. He is a certified member of the National Athletic Trainers Assn. and National Strength and Conditioning Assn. Chris lives in Ft. Myers, FL with his wife, Cindy, and children Jimmy, Ashlyn, Sarah and Jennifer.
